The SS 21 Gaiofatto collection is a search for balance between proportions, shapes and volumes, which has as its absolute value the harmony of the body. Asymmetries, soft lines, sharp and curved cuts designed together with details borrowed from the male wardrobe give materiality to the garments of this collection presented in a combination of colors very dear to the brand as magenta and gold to contrast more natural colors such as white silk, Navy blue and turtledove. It celebrates the encounter between ethics and aesthetics between the choice of natural materials, denim detox and the complete control of the supply chain, all Italian and almost totally Venetian.
SUSTAINABILITY
The production is at a kilometer zero and takes place in Veneto between Padua and Vicenza.
The fabrics are mostly made of natural fibers or derived from sustainable raw materials.
The quality of the material is the first requirement sought to ensure the durability of the garment not only in aesthetic terms.
The leather of the belts is hand-tanned with vegetable tannins, in Tuscany. It’s recovered from the food industry, whose products, if disposed of, would have a high negative impact on the environment.
In September 2021 will be presented the line of accessories made of tanned leather safeguarding the environment with sustainability certifications. The choice of leather is to ensure the durability of the accessory, at a greater time than the vegan materials currently tested.
The warning of the brand is to buy less and buy better, choosing garments with a unique and timeless allure, a kind of new classics.
